Hey… I am back 👋
I am currently in a cab moving towards Lonavala for a weekend gateway with my office buddies 🚗
Many readers replied to my last edition stating that they found it extremely relatable. It was about being busy vs being productive!
I hope you read it 👀
If you missed that letter, I would highly recommend checking that out by just searching it from search box 🔍
Today, let’s talk more about saving your time.
Showing you ChatGPT prompts
Notice the difference in its behavior.
Did you notice how you get answers exactly the way how you ask it?
Let me show you the magic with some of my prompts and notice the difference in answers.
Prompt 1: Write a tweet about AI
Answer: AI is not a threat to humanity, but a tool to enhance our creativity and intelligence. Let’s embrace the possibilities and challenges of this amazing technology. #AI #Future #Innovation
Boring! Let’s add a tone.
Prompt 2: Write a funny tweet about AI
Answer: AI is so advanced, it can write its own code. But sometimes it makes mistakes. Like when it tried to create a dating app and ended up with a virus. #AI #Code #Dating
Too formal but better than before.
Prompt 3: Act as Mr. Bean and write a funny tweet about AI
Answer: AI without conversation is like a teddy bear without stuffing. It’s just a bunch of wires and buttons that don’t make any sound or move. You need to talk to your toys, your friends, your neighbors, and your pets. That’s how you have fun and make them happy. #mrbean
Notice how it added the context of Mr. Bean? I still won’t call it impressive though.
Prompt 4: Act as Mr. Bean and write a funny tweet about AI. The target audience will be 10-year-old kids
Answer: AI is like a magic wand that can do amazing things. But sometimes it can also do silly things that make you laugh. Like when it tries to draw a picture of you and it looks like a potato. Or when it tries to sing a song and it sounds like a frog. Or when it tries to tell a joke and it makes no sense. AI is fun but it needs to learn more from you. #mrbean
Now that looks highly relevant to kids! Not perfect but does the job 🙂
So as you notice, as we give more detailed prompts to AI, it will start generating answers accordingly.
That’s not it. You need to keep trying with lots of variations of prompts until you start getting the results.
TLDR: AI content still needs too much editing and is often not suitable for in-depth content where original personality is required. Also, it’s a game of how good your communication level is!
Recently, our CEO tweeted this: AI will not replace anyone. Instead, the person who uses AI will replace those who do not.

TODAY’S ACTION ITEM FOR YOU
Step 1: Go to ChatGPT and start trying out multiple variations of prompts that you will find helpful in your day-to-day and professional life.
Step 2: Create a swipe file for yourself to save all the templates that you created while playing with it. You will have a huge library of helpful prompts soon.
Bonus Step: Reply to this email telling me how you plan to use ChatGPT. What will you ask it to generate?
Should I create an extensive resource on this topic where I will also mention your applications? Of course, giving you full credit.
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK
This week was mostly about planning the next quarter. Played around with ChatGPT and OpenAI playground more this week. I am still learning and it feels like it has a steep learning curve if we take it seriously.
I almost created a resource about ChatGPT but paused as I realized I will need to create more detailed information-packed content for that. Let me know if I should really bring it and what exactly would you like to see.
No, it won’t be like those cheap resources of 1000+ AI prompts that are being circulated on the web. My focus will be to bring more value to working professionals. So your input will be helpful.
BOOK I AM CURRENTLY READING
Completed “The One Minute Manager” by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson. It’s a short story of a man who is searching for the most efficient manager. Finally, he meets one and gets some lessons.
It’s a short and easy-to-read story and we discover three powerful techniques: One Minute Goals, One Minute Praisings, and One Minute Reprimands.
Not everything is worth learning but definitely a good read if you are a team manager.
AROUND THE WEB THIS WEEK
You can’t believe what I found this week! A real-time strategy game that we can directly play on the browser. This game is Base Attack Force.
I played Age of Empires for 8 years of my life. I played Clash of Kings for 2 years. I was looking for a similar game but couldn’t find any good game. Now, this is lit 🔥
Do you love such strategy games? Or what kind of games do you play? Let me know 🙂
