I Personally Replied To 300+ DMs & 414 Emails This Week! (My Email Course Funnel)

I wanted to share something that’s been keeping me quite busy this week, .

As mentioned in my last letter, a shoutout from Shweta in her video last week filled my LinkedIn inbox like never before – I’ve witnessed a whopping 1210% increase in my LinkedIn profile exposure! πŸš€

I found myself flooded with hundreds of connection requests, 300+ DMs and another 414 emails from my 10-day email course (thrice the number if we count the email threads) 🀯

I replied to each and every one of them without affecting my routine βœ…

It was a lot to handle, but here’s how I tackled it πŸ‘‡

➑ Canned Responses: I crafted 5 canned responses and kept them ready on my clipboard all the time. These little time-savers allowed me to respond swiftly to almost any message that came my way.

Of course, I made sure to add a personal touch for that extra-special touch – after all, I’m a marketer and personalization matters!

➑ Video: I even created a 30-minute video to teach them about ghostwriting. Collected all the questions, answered them in that video and published it. Video is full of action items, resources and real examples.

🀜 Gave a call to action where I diverted interested people to my free email course about side projects πŸ€›

I didn’t miss even a single message that I got. Converted almost every prospect into lead.

So this is how my funnel looks like:

Fast forward to today, and I’m still keeping up with every assignment submitted and responding to each email that lands in my inbox πŸ‘

Again, created canned responses for email assignments as well. With a little tweak here and there, I’ve managed to handle over 400 emails with a personal touch.

These people needed guidance. I created a video to explain them in their language. Nothing is more satisfying than that 😌

I’ve been able to clear up their misconceptions, and many of them have joined my 10-day email course.

Just like you, they’ve become friends, and some might build their own cool side projects.

I can tell from their dedication to their assignments that a few of them are surely gonna do something great.

I’m hopeful that at least 2-3 people will end up building a serious side project soon β™₯

Just loving the fact that this whole process has been extremely satisfying and fulfilling 🀩

✍ TODAY’S ACTION ITEM

ο»ΏπŸ‘‰ Build a Sustainable Funnel: It’s vital to create a system that keeps serving your target audience even if you experience a sudden burst of exposure or go viral. This way, your efforts continue benefiting your audience without overwhelming you

πŸ‘‰ Create Scalability through Processes: Scalability isn’t about doing more. It’s about having efficient processes in place. In my case, without an email course or instructional video, it would have been impossible to help a large number of people effectively. 1-on-1 assistance is fantastic but not always feasible when dealing with hundreds or thousands of individuals.

Setting up systems and processes can be a game-changer in making a meaningful impact without burning out! πŸ›’

βœ” WHAT I DID THIS WEEK

Saturday night was an absolute hustle for me. I was on a mission – recording and editing a video tutorial on ghostwriting. And you know what? I finished editing at 5:30 AM! Yes, I kept working throughout the night and I’m proud of the result! πŸŽ₯

To celebrate that, I decided to treat myself with a biryani party and watch “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” It is a light-hearted comedy-drama.
It even delivers a powerful message. It beautifully illustrates how our values are deeply rooted because of our upbringing. What’s ordinary to us might be utterly shocking to someone else. A good one-time watch! 🍿

Then I started reading this book called “Be a Product That Sells” by my friend Abhijeet Kumar. He’s got an engaging way of writing.
The book’s all about turning your freelancing services into hot-selling products. It’s dropping on Amazon soon and if you’re looking for a pre-release copy, just let me know (ham karte hai prabandh) πŸ“š

Yesterday, I made my way to Girgaon Chowpatty for Ganesh Visarjan. I was there till midnight. Let me tell you, I adore this event! I got to see those massive Ganesh idols from the biggest pandals in the city. It’s funny how I used to watch this on TV as a kid, and now I get to be there in person πŸŽ‰

Lastly, work-wise, this week was like a marathon. It was full of calls – interviews, feedback calls, townhall, discussions. I’ve been counting down the days for it to end. Finally, TGIF! Hopefully, I’ll wrap up everything as planned today and finally catch a breather πŸ’πŸ’€

That’s a wrap for my week, . How’s yours been? πŸ˜„

Found HeyGen AI and I am thrilled. It translates any video in the languages it has in its library. I tried my video from English to Hindi and woah! It even lip-syncs properly. Not at all feels robotic!
