One Project At A Time

Did you read my last email? It was about keeping things simple to get maximum results.

If you missed it, I would highly recommend reading it. Just search for my name in your inbox ๐Ÿ”

Continuing the same topic in a different context ๐Ÿ‘‡

โ€œI will post daily on my book review Instagram page and also create daily videos on YouTube”

I often come across such responses from my students sharing their side project ambitions in response to Chapter 3 of my free email course ๐Ÿ‘€

But here’s the thing โ€“ we all get a bit too excited sometimes.

๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๐Ÿšซ Multiple Side Projects at Once

I’ve been there, done that.

You probably have too.

We get so pumped up with ideas that we want to do it all, right now ๐Ÿคฉ

But let me share the golden nugget of wisdom I’ve been preaching to everyone these days โ€“ avoid the temptation of diving into multiple side projects simultaneously ๐Ÿ˜…

๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ Take It Slow, One Project at a Time

Instead of scattering your energy, focus on one thing at a time.

Focus on one project and figure out what it demands โ€“ time, money, team members, and whatnot.

๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๐Ÿ’ช Master One, Then On to the Next

Once you’ve got the hang of handling one project without turning your life into a circus, then you’re ready for the next challenge.

It’s like leveling up in a game ๐Ÿš€

โœ TODAYโ€™S ACTION ITEM

Your mission is to commit to a single side project.

Only when you find yourself thinking, “Hey, this is kinda easy now,” should you even think about expanding your empire ๐Ÿฏ

Remember, it’s not a sprint; it’s a marathon. Happy side-projecting! ๐Ÿš€

Reply to this email – what is that one side project that youโ€™re absolutely focused on and what is your progress on that?

โœ” WHAT I DID THIS WEEK

Watched a late-night show of the movie “Fighter” followed by a wild 3 AM long ride with friends. The cinematography of the movie was on point, and those aerial combat scenes were next level! ๐Ÿ›ฉ๏ธ

Guess what never gets old? The Republic Day parade! I love those displays of patriotism and military precision. Do you still get a kick out of watching the parade? It’s like a tradition for me ๐Ÿซก

We decided to hit up Lonavala, a nearby hill station. The experience of eating hot bhajiya on the top of mountains is always mesmerizing ๐ŸŒ„๐ŸŒง

Watched “DC League of Super-Pets” and it’s a treat. Imagine Superman’s dog Krypto saving all superheroes – Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Black Adam, and more. A must-watch for the DC fans out there ๐Ÿฆธ

I got a fresh copy of “Make Epic Money” by Ankur Warikoo. If you’ve followed his finance playlist on YouTube, you are not missing out on anything – I totally expected that. I just pre-ordered it for some extra goodies for being an early bird in his pre-launch event. Fan-boy moment? Absolutely. Currently, I’m 60% deep into it within 2 days โ€“ blame it on his compelling writing style ๐Ÿ˜…

Published 1 video and now running late for 2nd one because I was busy last weekend ๐Ÿ˜ถ

This week felt like being on the fast lane. Too many things that I didnโ€™t even put in this email.

๐ŸŒ AROUND THE WEB

Watched โ€œOn Quitting Youtubeโ€ by MKBHD. He talks about why several OG YouTubers are quitting YouTube even after YouTube is a dream job for millions of people.

I often get to hear from my creator friends how they donโ€™t see themselves creating content forever.

Reply to me with your thoughts on this topic and I will share my thoughts in my next weekโ€™s email.

Till then, sayonara ๐Ÿ‘‹
